There is political tension among the 'Kileweke' and 'Tangatanga' political factions as President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to tour Nyeri County, Kieni constituency today, May 30.

Kieni MP Kanini Kega, said to belong to Kieleweke camp, will be hosting the president.
"We are waiting to hear what the President will say while being hosted by Kanini,” an MP who asked for anonymity said.
According to the MP, by President Kenyatta choosing to be hosted by an MP who is opposing his deputy, sends a strong message.
“The fact that he has agreed to personally attend the meeting means he will be hosted by this guy in Kieleweke. This means a lot, but let us wait and hear what he will say,” the MP, allied to DP Ruto, said.
According to the Standard, the head of state will be presiding over the disbursement of Uwezo funds.
The function will be at Mweiga Stadium.
