There was drama at Ogembo law courts on Friday when two men were arraigned in court for allegedly engaging in illicit sex with the cow against the order of nature.
The suspects were surrendered to police after a thorough beating by angry villagers who busted them doing bad manners with the cow.
The suspects Edgar Omweri and Evans Nyangweso were arraigned before Senior Resident Magistrate Margaret Nafula.
The prosecution told the court that the suspects on January 19, 2019, in Boikanga village in Gucha South were caught red-handed by villagers doing the heinous act with the cow.
The court also heard that the cow valued at Sh 50,000 the suspects were caught having sex with died due to the injuries the suspects caused on its carnal.
Omweri and Nyangweo however, denied knowing knowledge of the cow's carnal.
Magistrate Nafula released the suspect on a Sh 50,000 cash bail or Sh150,000 bond.
The suspects were ordered to appear in court on February 1, 2019, when the case will be mentioned.
Nafula said hearing date will be set on February and warned the suspects against boycotting proceedings.
