In a tweet on Sunday, Murkomen dismissed claims that Ruto has become the leader of the opposition.

He insisted that President Kenyatta Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto will complete their term together no matter what happens.

He affirmed that the duo is destined to stick together to the end.

“You have to live with the fact that we are for finishing the journey with UHURUTO. There are no corners and no shortcuts. Anyone unhappy with Ruto being the Deputy President can as well quickly resign from Jubilee Government. Period,” he tweeted.

Prof Makua Mutua had alluded that the recent remarks by the second in command are a clear indication that all is not well in Jubilee.

He said that it is evident that Uhuru and Ruto are not speaking the same language as the debate on BBI implementation continues to take shape.

“Let’s drop ALL pretence. Everyone knows that @WilliamsRuto is now head of the “Opposition.” But he lacks the courage to resign and openly lead the charge against Uhuru Kenyatta,” he tweeted.
