In the footage shared by CNN, one of the presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is seen and heard firing at her competitor for the Democratic Party presidential ticket Bernie Sanders.

Warren refuses to shake the Vermont senator's hand, accusing him of calling her a liar.

"I think you called me a liar on national TV," she says in the video, as quoted by the CNN.

“Let’s not do it right now,” Sanders responded.

“You called me a liar," he added, according to the Guardian.

During the debate, Warren had sensationally claimed that Bernie Sanders had told her that a woman would never beat the current United States of America President Donald Trump in a toe-to-toe contest.

“Among the topics that came up was what would happen if Democrats nominated a female candidate,” Warren said, according to The Guardian, recalling the meeting.

“I thought a woman could win; he disagreed. I have no interest in discussing this private meeting any further because Bernie and I have far more in common than our differences on punditry," she added.

Sanders strongly denied that he had uttered those words, saying that he had supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

The debate, according to the Market Watch, was the final before the Iowa caucus.
