Dressing well is a form of good manners. However, a good number of men consistently make dressing mistakes, either consciously or unconsciously, that make other people silently judge them.
Never make these simple mistakes again after reading this guide:
1.Wearing white sporting socks with an official outfit
They are called sporting socks for a reason. If you're not on a run or in the gym breaking some sweat or any form of sporting activity, never pair these socks with a suit.
Go for universal colours like black, brown, grey or better yet, have some fun and show a bit more of personality with colourful, happy socks.
2.Wearing wrinkled outfits
No matter how expensive the outfit is, wrinkled clothes just look cheap and can throw off your entire image.
If you don't like ironing, make an effort and seek help from a dry cleaner. Take some of your clothes to a dry cleaner and have them ironed.
3.Wearing baggy shirts
Guys who buy baggy shirts, are you planning to wear them until eternity?
Baggy shirts are not a good look. They have a way of making you look 40 when you are only 22 years old.
They make you look fat, old-fashioned and someone might even think it's borrowed.
So, when shopping for shirts, make sure the collar doesn't have more than two fingers of room, and the shoulder seams hit the edge of your shoulder; or rather visit your tailor and get your exact measurements before buying.
4.Wearing sports shoes or boots with every outfit
Guys who wear sports shoes with a suit, or those who wear hiking boots with sweatpants, you might not know, but you are doing it wrong.
They are called sports shoes and hiking shoes for a reason.
They are basically meant for sporting and hiking activities respectively.
5.Wearing a visible undershirt
Just like your underwear isn't visible, your undershirt shouldn't be either.
If you like leaving your collar button undone, wear a v-neck undershirt instead.
If you don't have v-shirt just go sans undershirt. It's better than having a visible one.
