A Kisii based politician has reacted after Education CS George Magoha's proposed that all university students should wear uniforms.
Don Bosco Gichana said he does not know what the government officials smoke.
"I don't know what these government guys smoke. Before one is done with one joke they come up with another. University students to wear uniforms, what the hell is that?" wrote Gichana on his Facebook page on Friday.
He said the government should create more jobs and opportunities for jobless graduates instead of focusing on university uniforms.
"We want to hear stuff like free university education, HELB defaulters debts waived, employment for our jobless graduates the list is endless. Don't be surprised to hear them introduce uniforms for the unemployed," he added.
Bosco further said before university students start wearing that, the top government officials and politicians should wear the uniforms for easy identification because they are too many for Kenyans to identify them yet they are looting heavily.
"But before university students start wearing that, we need uniforms for our CSs, PSs, CAS,MPs, women reps, Senators, Governors, and MCAs for easy Identification because they are too many for us to identify them who are looting us left right and centre.
That way it will be easier for us to identify our economic saboteurs on the streets. Viva... Amandla!" read part of his post.
The businessman and politician enjoy massive support across Kisii and Nyamira Counties and is perceived to be a close ally to NASA leader Raila Odinga.
