Questions are now emerging on the level of sincerity in some Jubilee politicians, especially on matters governance.
A case in point is the latest incident where Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is opposing the just assented to Health Bill of 2018.
In light of this, it is apparent that Murkomen is playing insincere politics in his opposition of the bill that President Kenyatta assented to on Monday this week. According to him, the Health Bill was unprocedurally passed thus, rendering it null and void.
"The purported health laws Amendment Act having been passed on without due regard of the constitution, especially Articles 109 & 110 are unconstitutional and therefore null and void," Murkomen wrote on his Facebook page.
What is even raising doubts on the Senator's sincerity level on the said bill is his presence during the assenting function presided by President Kenyatta. The big question that now lingers is, why would he witness the signing of a bill that is unconstitutional?
As expected, Murkomen would have boycotted the event at the State House to express his displeasure on how the bill was handled by the National Assembly.
To this effect, Murkomen should learn to be sincere and stop his double speak especially on matters of national importance.
