Kisii County Executive for Sports Duke Mainga Echate has received accolades from fellow comrades after rescuing a young man from Kisii who was allegedly left stranded in Nairobi.
According to the CeC who spoke to Hivisasa on phone, Tuesday, the man, Jinford Isanda was ferried to Nairobi by some people who are yet to be identified for a Job.
"His name is Jinford Isanda from Igega, Egesa area, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County. Was found loitering in Nairobi and he claims to have been left in the streets by someone who was going to get him a job," said Mainga.
On Monday the County Executive tasked someone to book him in for transit back to Kisii where he landed safely on Tuesday morning.
"Whoever that had claimed to be knowing him has denounced it stating that they only share a name with whoever he knows. I have asked that he may be handed over to the Nyatieko area subchief to identify the family he comes from. The good thing is that the boy is now safe," he said.
Section Kisii youths who took it to social media have congratulated Mainga for his endless support to young people.
