According to Stivo Simple Boy, the Tanzanian musician did not seek permission to use part of the lyrics from his song.

Simple Boy went ahead to claim that he together with Byzzo, an artist he featured in the song, have been receiving messages from their fans who are concerned.

"Fans are calling me and sending me messages claiming that our song has been stolen by Harmonize. Byzzo is similarly receiving messages with the claims that Harmonize has stolen our song.

(Mafans wananipigia simu, wananitumia message wakisema eti ngoma yetu imeibiwa na Harmonize. Byzzo vile vile anapigiwa simu anaulizwa eti ngoma yetu imeibiwa na Harmonize)," Stivo Simple boy stated in a video uploaded on his Instagram page on Tuesday night.

The artists went ahead to claim that their management had not received any communication from anyone seeking permission to use the content of the song.

Byzzo, however, added that the matter is still under investigation.

"Since the time we uploaded that song, no one has come to seek permission from us to use it. We have even spoken to our management, we have asked them if there has been any communication and they have told us that there was none though they are still continuing with the investigation.

Harmonize recently released a song dubbed 'Hainistui' where he uses part of the lyrics that form the chorus of Stivo Simple boy's song.
