In a tweet on Friday, the commentator observed that the show appears to have been formed with one intention, which is to fight a specific politician eyeing the presidency in 2022.

He noted with concern that the show is coming out as a weapon specifically formed against Deputy President William Ruto, noting that most of the interviewees are usually anti-Ruto.

"It is interesting that every guest Tony Gachoka hosts on Point Blank show at KTN is a fierce critic of DP Ruto. It is no longer difficult to tell why the programme was recently launched. But is it sustainable and ethical to execute a programme targeting an individual?" he wrote.

Kisiangani stressed on the need for the station and Gachoka to redeem themselves by trying to have diverse views on the platform and not taking sides.

"It is in the long-term interest of the KTN station and the public for Tony Gachoka to host people with diverse opinions on the political direction of our country. For every Point Blank show he hosts, Tony needs two or three debaters with diverse opinions. For now, he is lost!" he added.

The last guest on the show was former Gichugu MP Martha Karua who said that Ruto must exit government, thanks to the many corruption allegations hanging over his head.
