Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has received constant allegations from Canadian based and Kenyan advocate of the high court Miguna Miguna of involvement in drug trafficking, drug sale, corruption and 'butchering' of university students.
"Babu Owino is not just corrupt; he peddles illicit drugs and has committed murder and torture of university students," Miguna claimed on Saturday evening.
Miguna's assertion comes at a time when the debate in the country is growing hotter of drug trafficking claims among top politicians with Mombasa governor Hassan Ali Joho being the latest in the controversy after he was linked to drugs by Nandi Governor Stephen Sang.
Barrister Miguna Miguna has been righteously accusing opposition and jubilee politicians of selfishness at the expense of the poor Kenyan people.
Drug trafficking is detrimental to the health of any addict and not fit for the youths.
The Embakasi East legislator, who has been a university student leader for years is accused of using the comrades' spirit and students as his shield in advancing business in drugs which is an international connection of drug lords.
Drug trafficking menace came to the light in the country when the Akasha brothers were arrested and convicted in the United States of America (USA) for the drug trade and several Kenyan politicians being connected to the business network.
