Kilonzo Junior said the party has, however, not agreed on the changes that should be incorporated into the constitution when the right time comes. He said party members will sit down and agree on the way forward before they declare their final position.“Our party leader has severally spoken on inclusivity and strengthening of devolution. We will at a near future condense our thoughts,” Kilonzo Junior said. The senator spoke to a local daily.Several leaders including ODM chief Raila Odinga and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula have been calling for the constitutional change in order to incorporate inclusivity in the same. The leaders feel that 'the winner takes it all' system is not democratic since it has killed the opposition.

Wetangula opines that the new changes will foster unity for the sake of development.

Kilonzo Junior's sentiments come at a time when Kalonzo is facing one of the toughest times in his political career after three Ukambani governors started waging war against him.

Governors Alfred Mutua (Machakos), Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) have accused Kalonzo of using Members of County Assemblies (MCAs) to frustrate their leadership at different levels.
