Six MCAs from Nyamira County have after all obeyed summons issued by Orange House over the ouster of Deputy Speaker Duke Omoti.

Already, Omoti had obtained temporary orders restraining the assembly from striping him off the seat.

And on Thursday, the six appeared before Raila Odinga's ODM disciplinary committee where they defended their actions.

After intensive interrogation, they were pictured with party lawyer Tony Moturi, who also sits in the committee.

Mr. Odinga has been cracking whip on errant party members with also Governor Okoth Obado expected to be summoned.

Contrary to the party's advise, ODM MCAs went on to kick out Mr. Omoti over what they termed as abuse of office.

They include Duke Masira, Carol Mogere, Damaris Mouni, George Abuga and Abel Mose.

Mr. Mose had sponsored the bill and he's said to have been at pain to explain why he defied the party's position.
