Bosco who came from Tanzanian prison a few months ago turned to Social Media where he condemned the president for choosing Matiang'i to be 'second in command.'

From his sentiments, Bosco showed his feelings that the president was scrapping the powers entitled to his deputy William Ruto who is second in command as required by the law.

"Legally executive order number 1 of 2019 appointing Matiangi as more or less of a Chief Minister is flawless so speaking in law. For he only reports to the President and not the presidency. The duo were elected on one ticket, the 2nd in command deputises the 1st in command. So if the president travels where will Matiangi report to or if the 1st in command is taken ill? I believe these will be challenged in the court of law. My 2 cents advise the order needs to be corrected," said Don Bosco in his post.

Apart fromDon Bosco condemning the order of the president, Kenyans from all spheres reacted to the president's abrupt move of selecting Matiang'i as a chief minister. Some were happy and to others, it came as a rude shock and demanded the president to drop the order.

Bosco has been great friends with NASA chief Raila Odinga. He even campaigned for Raila intensely in Kisii during 2007 electioneering period, although the results of the elections were considered bungled.

NASA chief also had negotiated for his release from Tanzanian prison after other legislators seemed not to be concerned.
