As the fight against corruption takes new twists every day, Makueni County Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr came out to ask Kenyans to pray for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti.
The Senator says Kinoti needs prayers to be empowered by God so that he can be able to smoke out corrupt individuals in the society.
Taking to his Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon the young and vibrant politician asked for Gods wisdom be bestowed to the Chief Investigator in the country who is at the helm of investigation for justice to prevail.
"We remember one man in our prayers- DCI Kinoti," Mutula Tweeted.
"May God give you the wisdom to smoke out of the thieves of our dreams and aspirations," he added.
He added that the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Boss should brace himself and work for Kenyans who have trust in him through the constitution of Kenya where he has authoritative designation ensuring that proper probe is conducted.
The fight against graft has been at the peak with the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta giving it full and total commitment to seeing a corrupt free nation as his legacy during his last term in office.
Mutula's request to Kenyans comes at a time the country is conducting a thorough spot check on the public servants and awaiting the lifestyle audit be conducted which will facilitate nabbing of looters or public resources.
