A man is nursing injuries after his wife attacked him after she found a love text message in his phone on Thursday evening at Tabaka in South Mugirango constituency, Kisii County.
Teresa Kerubo said she accessed her husband, Peter Nyabuto's phone after he left it on the table.
"My husband left his phone on the table so I decided to go through his messages. I was shocked to find love messages from a woman called Zipporah," she said.
Mrs Kerubo said on questioning Nyabuto he refused to explain prompting to the attack.
"I have been loyal to my husband yet he messing our marriage. I did beat him up and broke his mobile phone into pieces," she said.
Area chief, Abel Kenyanya confirmed the incident and said infidelity among men is on the rise in the area.
