He, however, warns that too much stress is bad for our health. Here are five tips on how to relieve and manage stress.

1. Get enough rest

We spend a lot of time working and doing other things and fail to equally get a lot of time to rest.

2. Break the routine

Majority of us liking doing the same thing the same way hence creating boredom which turns to stress.

Mr Mburu says that every day we should change our routines and adopt a new way of doing things to avoid being stressed.

“You can avoid waking up the same hour every day or wearing the same clothes, shoes, jewelry every day,” he says.

3. Stop procrastinating

Mr Mburu notes that procrastination is the main cause of stress among the majority of human beings.

He says that people keep on postponing their activities and by doing that they end up piling pressure on themselves.

“The best thing to avoid stress is to handle each situation as it is and stop postponing things,” he says.

4. Get inspired

He observes many of us give up easily on how life treats us.

Mr Mburu states that 40 percent of people who experience stress lack inspiration and easily give up on life.

5. Talk about it

Mr Mburu says that talking is the medicine for stress.

He says that many of us fail to take and share out whenever we have issues.

“Suffering in silence does not help relieve stress and we must learn on how to share what we experience,” he adds.

6. Set time for fun

Fun is another good remedy to relieve stress. You should create time with your friends, workmate or family to interact and share out issues.
