What a good month this has been to rapper Kennedy Ombima aka King Kaka!
Just about two weeks ago, he released a hard-hitting song "Wajinga Nyinyi" that saw him trend on social media for a while and has now been ranked as one of the "Most respected Kenyans".
According to a survey by research firm, TIFA, King Kaka is among the people Kenyans respect most. This ranks him up there alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
While reacting to the report, the 32-year-old rapper said that it was nice to see the youths respected.
"It is amazing to see the youth considered and respected. It is now upon us to shape our country and children's future," King Kaka said in a post on his Facebook page.
The popular rapper was ranked alongside marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge, football star Michael Olunga, in the entertainment world.
Other respected Kenyans in the list include industrialist Manu Chandaria, Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi and Keroche Breweries owner and Managing Director Tabitha Karanja.
Before releasing the "Wajinga Nyinyi" hit, King Kaka was already a well-established musician in the entertainment world. For years, he has been considered the "King of Rap" in Kenya.
