Speaking to eDaily via phone on Tuesday, the fast-rising Kenyan artist said that she decided to release the song as a thanksgiving to God, her fans and the media for the far she has reached in the music industry.

“I just wanted to say thank you to, most importantly God, and the fans and the media for getting me this far. There have been a lot of ups and downs and I at some point thought about releasing it later but I felt like I should just say thank you now for this far," Mukami told eDaily

Nadia who graduated from Maseno University in 2018 with a bachelors degree in business administration, divulged that despite pondering whether or not to release the song, it was prudent to thank the greatest contributors to her success as much as she had not yet achieved the much she wants.

"I have not achieved much…but I have achieved something…and, to me, that is worth saying thank you to everybody that has supported me for", she added.

The sensational artist's hit 'Radio Love' was nominated to the 'Female Video of the Year" category in Pulse Music Video Award (PMVA)  2019.
