Most ladies have at least one pair of high heels. Those who love these type of shoes have several pairs of them. The big question is, are you comfortable in them? We know you look sexy and beautiful but how long can you enjoy that nice look?
Unfortunately, not all women who like wearing high heels find them comfortable. For that reason, most of them carry an extra pair of flat shoes in their handbags.
Here are five ways to make heels more comfortable.
1. Don't forget to put on your blister stickers
These are soft stickers put at the back of the shoes, or at any point where you are anticipating blisters. This will make you more comfortable and at ease since they will prevent the blisters from forming.
2. Use cooling and menthol spray
This remedy prevents your feet and toes from swelling as well as preventing blisters, which could negatively affect your comfort in heels.
3. Roughen the sole
This will make your heels' sole less slippery to the surface, and as a result, making you comfortable and at ease when in heels. To do this, simply wear your shoes and rub the slippery sole on the pavement to make it a bit rough. You can also buff the sole using sandpaper or a metal file.
4. Tape your toes together
This is a hack where your forth and third toes are taped together using a medical tape to kill pain that comes as a result of high heels. “The proof is in the science: there’s a nerve that splits between those two toes, which causes pain when pressure is put on it (like when you wear heels). The tape helps to remove strain on the nerve,” notes Melissa Frankel, as quoted by dailymom.com.
5. Make use of legwear
Also known as hosiery, they make your feet skin fit easily in your heels which boosts your stability while walking.
