However, their admission is not only to study but also shape up their futures either by getting a partner in the institution or another university as they say 'university materials' rhyme.
A section of Moi University comrades especially the male ones who are in their final years ready to begin hustling life have always opted to get a first-year partner in the institution.
Here are the two main reasons why they prefer dating freshers;
'Holy'
There has always been a perception that most first years are still 'holy' with holy meaning they haven't adapted to campus life where you will find all types of people; those smoking, drinking alcohol and even sexual immorality.
This has made most of the final year students look for a partner in the first year.
Still focused
When they are being admitted, most freshers are exactly still on their principles and they keep in mind their sole purpose on campus is to study to get a first class degree.
However, some may engage with those popularly known as the bad company or the spoiled ones who might have lost hope in their studies and the only thing they hope for is a degree. So those in their finishing years who have known how to cope with campus life will prefer freshers so as to encourage her to study and avoid those immoral behaviours.
