In a tweet, Miguna said the move by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Norodin Haji to order for the arrest of National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, and other government officials is a mere public relations stunt.

He claimed nothing will change even after the arrest of officials in connection with the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal where billions of tax payer's money was lost.Rotich was arrested alongside Kamau Thugge (Treasury Principal Secretary), Jackson Kinyanjui (Treasury Director of resource mobilization) among other officers. "The rotten MPigs and the mediocre and compromised media are falling over each other with praise over Despot Uhuru's PR arrests. When will Muhoho, @AnneWaiguru, Goldenberg, Angloleasing, NYS, Eurobond, SGR, Okemo, Gichuru, @IEBCKenya chicken-eaters & other thieves going to jail ?" he tweeted.

"In 2014, Despot Uhuru Kenyatta imposed an executive order that "All Government contracts or payments of Kshs 1 billion or more must be authorized by the President, Uhuru Kenyatta." Since Arror and Kimwarer were for more than Kshs. 7 billion, when is Uhuru being charged for fraud? he posed.
