Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has joined other leaders and Kenyans in condemning the Tuesday terror attack at Riverside in Nairobi.
In his condolence message to the families and relatives of the victims, Duale urged Kenyans to unite in the fight against terror.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the 14 Riverside Terror Attack.Bravo to our heroes who have put their lives in danger to rescue those in distress. May God bless our motherland,” Duale said on his twitter account.
Six suspected terrorists stormed 14 Riverside on Tuesday afternoon and started shooting as security agencies swiftly moved in to battle with the armed gunmen.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday confirmed that the six gunmen behind the attack have been killed.
In his address to Kenyans, the president also said that the rescue operation has been completed.
The president confirmed that 14 people lost their lives in the attack.
President Kenyatta hailed security agencies for a swift and quick response to the attack, noting that over 700 people were evacuated to safety.
The president urged Kenyans to remain calm and vigilant noting that their safety is guaranteed.
