Later on Friday, the Standard reports, Uhuru will gazette new parastatal heads with a cabinet reshuffle also looming in a week's time.

But sources at Orange House intimate that three of Raila Odinga's confidants will be recalled to Public Service in what is seen as an aftermath of March 9th handshake.

"We are expecting more appointments. The two leaders meet and talk regularly.

"Some of his allies (Raila) will be appointed in few days time to head various bodies," he said.

Among those expected to be rewarded are Dennis Onyango, Raila's spokesman, who will reportedly take roles as PSCU head.

The position is currently held by Kanze Dena in an acting capacity following deployment of Manoah Esipisu as envoy in London.

Former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, who lost to Peter Nyong'o, is expected to take new roles as one of Vision 2030 Directors.

And another likely beneficiary will be Jakoyo Midiwo, a former Gem MP and a cousin to Raila.

In his various meetings, Raila has often denied claims that the handshake was meant to solicit for government jobs.
