Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has once again picked a fight with President Uhuru Kenyatta accusing him of hypocrisy.
Speaking to the press on Sunday, Ngunjiri bashed Uhuru for lamenting over widespread corruption in his cabinet and among a section of fop state officials.
He accused the President of only telling one side of the story and hiding the fact that he has been sleeping on his job and allowing loopholes for the corrupt to steal.
"You must stop this hypocrisy. Where were you when the money was being stolen by the alleged corrupt elements? posed the controversial MP.
Uhuru has been involved in numerous public rants lately, threatening to take stern actions against his officials regardless of their closeness to him.
He also accused Uhuru of leaving his deputy William Ruto to be mauled by opposition politicians who have placed him at the middle of most of the latest scandals.
The legislator wondered why the Head of State has been silent despite having vowed to work side by side with the DP and even endorse his 2022 presidential bid.
"How comes he never speaks when his deputy is being accused of engaging in corruption? Let him come clean on what exactly is happening," he added.
This is not the first time the MP is firing shots at the Uhuru and was involved in a similar situation earlier in the year in an exchange that culminated in him leading a demo in Nakuru.
The MP questioned Uhuru's closeness to opposition leader Raila Odinga, leading to Uhuru referring to him as an idiot in January.
