The group of five allies of ODM leader Raila Odinga was hosted by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed for a funds drive for a local secondary school.

According to Junet, the function was attended by Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi, Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga and Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi.

Others were businessman Ken Angwen and former Migori MP Owino Likowa.

"Hosted colleagues Hon. Gladys Wanga, Opiyo Wandayi, Samuel Atandi, ex-Migori MP Hon. Owino Likowa; Businessman Ken Angwen and many others to a funds-drive in aid of a secondary school in my constituency. Thanks to all who joined us," Junet tweeted.

This comes barely a month after Raila led a bigger delegation of allies for the thanksgiving ceremony of Nyatike MP Tom Odege, before proceeding to launch a number of projects in the area.

Raila was accompanied by Migori Governor Okoth Obado with whom they have not been reading from the same script for a while especially after Obado last year accused Raila of plotting his downfall.

Other leaders who were present include Siaya Senator James Orengo, host MP Odege, Wanga and Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo.
