The local media landscape and the country on Friday kept guessing as K24 TV ushered in a mysterious guest in a VIP entourage from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
K24 first took it to social media sharing photos of the convoy believed to have been the guest's escort from JKIA to Villarosa Kempinski where the station shall unveil a number of new faces.
The set of news anchors will be trusted with the task of spiking up the K24 Tv ratings. As at 1300HRS on Friday, the station announced that their special guest, whose details had been kept a top secret, had already checked in at Villarosa Kempinski.
The station would only unveil the guest on Friday night at as former KTN News anchor Betty Kyallo will be making her debut on the Mediamax Ltd owned channel.
The station will also officially welcome Fred Indimuli, who was picked from Citizen TV where he worked as a new anchor and Power Breakfast show's lead host.
K24 will also retain their news anchor and part-time morgue attendant, Erick Njoka, on their news desk. Others include veteran sports news Editor Totome Tirike and a host of famale presenters who will power their Swahili desk.

A number of social media users suspected that the mysterious guest could be former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand. Others guessed that that Betty Kyallo would host JayZ and Beyonce on the station in her Weekend with Betty program.
