The MP who was on Monday arrested over claims of assaulting a police officer has been claiming that his woes are being engineered by  top bosses at the Interior Ministry.

However, Bitok on Wednesday night mocked him for crying foul, reminding him how he celebrated the harassment of opposition leaders and supporters after the 2017 polls.

He recalled  how the MP was encouraging President Uhuru Kenyatta to have police officers use excessive force on opposition demonstrators, saying that its now his turn.

"Ndindi Nyoro, wakati Gladys Wanga alikuwa analia eti tunanyanyaswa alikuwa anaambia Rais chapa hawa watu," he said on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi.

This translates to: When Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay Woman Rep) was lamenting of oppression, Ndindi Nyoro was encouraging the president to hit them harder."

He reminded the MP that injustice is like a saw, which only cuts when pulled and pushed back and forth, faulting him for celebrating when it was on the other side, and complaining now that it has caught up with him.

"You need to understand that power ni kama kivuli (is like a shadow), its never permanent, it keeps moving. Injustice ni kama msumeno, ukipeleka huku inakata yule na ukipeleka upande huu mwingine ni wewe inakukata (injustice is like a saw, it cuts the other person when taken to the other side and you when taken to the next side)," he added.

Nyoro, in his allegations, has claimed that Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho is unhappy with his support for Deputy President William Ruto, hence the punishment.

However, he has insited that he won't be compelled to abandon his belief.
