Prophet Owuor made a grand entry into Nakuru on Friday, December 28 in a convoy of several cars among them eight land cruisers and two police outriders.

According to police sources, already four of the police cars have been detained.

“Let the drivers pray but we have detained the vehicles as part of investigations,” said an officer.

IG Boinnet had earlier said action will be taken to all those who assigned the vehicles to the prophet.

“The law allows one to hire police for private functions; however, not to the scale depicted in the [Prophet Owuor] video. I am assuring you that action is being taken. Misuse of public resources is not permitted in law,” the IG said.
