Raila Odinga's handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta was on trial once again this weekend after ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna poked holes at President Uhuru Kenyatta's leadership.

In a funeral of Margaret Okero, a wife to former Gem MP Omollo Okero, Sifuna wondered why Uhuru was asking favours from ODM yet post election violence victims have not been compansated.

"As ODM, we have made many concessions and this is now enough. We want to see the president coming out to apologize on how the police mishandled our people.

"He must apologize to Baby Pendo and many who lost their lives. He should in fact implement what we agreed including compansating those who were affected," he fired.

Last week, Raila hailed ODM MPs for backing the controversial Finance Bill which elicited rebellion from among Kenyans.

While speaking at the event, Raila was at pain to explain his new fond relationship with President Uhuru.

"We cannot do things same ways all the time. Sometimes we must change tact and that is what I did," he said.
