An MP allied to Deputy President William Ruto has called on the arrest of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho who he claims is to blame for the many problems bedeviling the youth in Mombasa.
Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) said on Monday that Joho who has been busy campaigning in Rift Valley, Ruto's political backyard does not have the moral authority to speak anything corruption as he did when he visited Baringo and Samburu on Saturday and Sunday.
"I want to tell Joho that so many youth have been lost in Mombasa and Coast region because of your illegal businesses," he said without elaborating as he referred to the famous vessel that was blown up in the Indian Ocean after being nabbed transporting cocaine.
"Today, you boldly stand on national television telling Kenyans about corruption. You are not even supposed to tell Kenyans anything about corruption. After your leadership in 2022, we will do an audit on your life and I can tell you even now that you are supposed to be in Kamiti Prison."
Over the weekend, Joho visited Rift Valley and has been receiving a backlash from Ruto's allies who question the motive of the visit.
Sudi said the only man to beat during the 2022 general polls is Ruto and any attempts by the former Kisauni MP to scuttle the DP's bid to ascend to State House will out-rightly fail.
