Self-proclaimed Prophet Dr David Owuor is among the few preachers who enjoy heavy security.
Owuor is always in company of heavy and armed security personnel who guard him on 24 hour basis.
It is often difficult accessing the man of God who performs live miracles.
In his crusades and ministries, Dr Owuor is always surrounded by heavily armed security personnel.
Even the prophet’s followers and close relatives don’t enjoy close access to him.
In June during his miracles crusade at City Park in Nairobi, prophet Owuor was heavily guarded with security personnel some from the government.
But why is Dr Owour so much protected ?
1. Live miracles
The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness allegedly performs miracles.
He has the anointing that heals the sick, the crippled, the blind and all sought of sickness.
In August last year (2017), Prophet Owuor allegedly raised back to life a dead woman.Dr Owuor allegedly raised Mama Rosa from West Pokot back to life after she had been pronounced dead.It is basing on his ability to perform miracles that he enjoys heavy security.
2. Enemies
According to Owour’s followers, the prophet has many enemies who would want to harm him.
The prophet's followers allege that some of Owuor enemies are men and women of God who envy his miracles.
“He has many enemies who have sometimes tried to harm him,” Owuor follower who sought anonymity says.
3. Prophecies
Prophet Owuor is feared for the prophecies he makes. The prophet who claims to have powerful anointing to prophecies has in many cases made prophecies that have come to pass.
He prophesied the 2007/2008 post poll chaos that rocked the county after the disputed 2007 presidential election.
According to Owuor’s followers, some people fear him for making ‘bad’ prophecies and would want to harm him.
4. Political connections.
Apart from his prophetic work, Dr Owour is allegedly said to have deep political connections and networks that has seen his security enhanced wherever he goes.
5. International connections
The self-proclaimed prophet has international connections and moves from country to country preaching and healing people.His followers say that some of the countries he visits volunteers to give him free security.
Prophet Owuor enjoys massive following and has never shied away from attacking some men and women of God who he claims are misleading their flocks.
The prophet has often rubbished claims that he performs fake miracles.
