In a video shared by the Daily Nation, Mr Odinga is seen settling in his chair at the wedding ceremony after exchanging pleasantries with the bridegroom Waiganjo Kamotho.

The former prime minister arrived in a collared, grey shirt.

Raila Odinga's presence at the wedding serves as another reminder that he has truly buried the hatchet with the Kirinyaga County boss.

The ODM boss had been a strong critic of Anne Waiguru, dragging her name in the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal that saw millions of shillings looted.

Governor Waiguru had filed a lawsuit over what she claimed was an attempt by Mr Odinga to assassinate her character and soil her name.

In a litany of media statements and interviews, the governor has rebuffed claims that she was the mastermind of the scandal.

She withdrew the legal suit in 2018 and the two leaders met at Mr Odinga's office at Capitol Hill.

Waiguru has been engaged to renowned lawyer and socio-political commentator Kamotho Waiganjo.

The two lovebirds revealed this year that they had been seeing each other and that they intended to walk hand in hand down the aisle.
