The judge presiding over the bail application of Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe was forced to alter his ruling after it emerged that he had made an error in his first orders.
Earlier at the Kiambu courts, Principal magistrate Justus Kituku had ruled that Jacque is remanded for 10 more days.
He clarified that the 10 days meant all days and not just the working days.
However, he was made to rectify the ruling to 11 days after it was made known to him that the earlier ruling placed the hearing on October 10, which is a public holiday.
Maribe is key suspect in the case where Monica Kimani was murdered about a kilometre from Kibera in her Kilimani area house.
