Speaking to the press in Eldoret town after the demonstration on Saturday, the association's president Sango Maewa called for justice for the deceased.

"I want to condemn the brutal murder of our colleague with the strongest terms possible and we demand justice for Ouma and our other officers who have died in their line of duty, "he said.

The deceased lifeless body was found on the morning of Saturday 4th May 2019 with stab wounds at Jerusalem Estate in the outskirts of Eldoret town.

His body is lying at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital awaiting burial.

“Fellow Kenyans we are just your servants, we urge you not to kill or harm us because we are your mothers, fathers, children, and people of the same country,” he added.

Maewa called on the investigative agencies to get to the bottom of this case and bring those who are involved to book.

He further urged security organs to provide security for each of the judiciary staff if not they should be licensed to carry firearms for their own security.
