Mr Machogu in his official Facebook page has indicated that the contractor has been paid and is expected on site to start mobilizing resources and work in the next two weeks

He further observed that the link between Nyanturago through Ekona is in the plan but has not been allocated funds.

“…I am working with government ministries and offices to see if it can be factored in phase 2. managing to put it in the plan was an important step,” explained the parliamentarian.

According to the MP, the Keroka-Ibacho-Kiamokama road could not be put in national government plans because it was taken over by the county government in 2016 before he took office.

He has however said he managed to get the ministry and KeRRa accept to maintain the road as he is engaging the county government to accept to return it to the national government

“That is my interpretation of leadership. Giving both short-term solutions and working with all. Talking for the people to get work done that can benefit them,” wrote Machogu

The MP has said that he hopes with the saving of funds for repairs of the Sosera 15 KM road, they can be able to put good murram to the roads.
