A tough-talking Moha took a swipe at the county boss accusing him of doing less in development compared to other counties.

“As we speak, Makueni has beaten us in terms of development yet we are a big county that has several income generating activities like tourism,” Moha said.

He wondered why despite having beaches, many young people are still living miserable lives with no source of livelihood.

The MP also told off Joho for reportedly flattening businesses belonging to small traders at the beach in his constituency without consulting his office.

“Wafanyibiashara wawachwe wafanye biashara msimu huu wa krisimasi mambo hayo mengine tutarejelea Januari,” he said amid cheers from the crowd.

The MP spoke as Governor Joho who was present appeared unperturbed by the swipes taken at him.

Joho and Ali have been having differences since 2017 during the campaigns.

Ali claimed Joho worked behind the scenes to rig the ODM nominations in Nyali to have the certificate given to his (Joho’s) relative.

After losing the ODM nominations, Moha went ahead to run as an Independent and won the seat.
