With the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 33rd Edition 2019 coming to finals today between Senegal and Algeria in Egypt, the qualifiers for AFCON 2021 has been released.
The 2021 AFCON will be hosted by Cameroon and has Harambee Stars featured in Group G qualifiers.
Harambee Stars have been placed in the same group with Egypt who has won the competition seven times, Togo and Comoros.
The first two teams in each 2019 AFCON competitions qualifiers except group F where Cameroon has been exempted since it will be hosting the competitions will qualify.
Harambee Stars coach Sebastian Migne helped Kenya book a ticket for the 2019 AFCON where they have been since 2004.
He will be the first Kenyan Coach to see Harambee Stars feature in back to back AFCON tournaments should he guide the team through their preparation for AFCON 2021.
