Kenyans across the country widely recognize Aden Duale as a powerful politician both in his local backyard and across the country at large.
Being the current Majority Leader in the current Jubilee government, Duale is among the few individuals who enjoy unlimited entry into State House.
What is yet to get into the public domain is the face behind the Garissa Township's MP popular entry into the country's political arena.
It can now be revealed that the NASA chief Raila Odinga is one individual who inducted Duale into the world of politics.
March this year during a parliamentary session, Mr Duale was quoted saying that he was introduced into politics by the opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The vocal legislator said that he highly respects Raila and that he was much grateful for if it were not for him, he could be nowhere in the country's political scenes.
He also added that he recognised Raila’s active role in politics way back from the KANU days.
“I'm a happy politician simply because I was introduced into politics by one Raila Amollo Odinga. I believe there are others scared of Raila Odinga being in the opposition. But to speak the truth, he is loved and also hated in equal measure” Duale was quoted.
Even as he speaks about his respect for Raila, Duale has frequently found himself openly criticising the NASA principal and at times hurling even the unspeakable.
And as has been said, there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics.
