Head digital communication at State House Dennis Itumbi has consoled former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu after being replaced as county boss by Dr James Nyoro.
Through his Twitter account, Itumbi described Waititu as his friend and assured the governor that it was not yet over.
"To my friend, Mr. Waititu,May Justice like the mighty waters, in the fullness of time, deliver fairness and truth.Politics should never defeat the Law.You are in my prayers and I must add, it is not over yet...Keep fighting. Keep seeking Justice. It shall be well, " Mr Itumbi said in his Friday tweet.
Waititu was removed from power on Wednesday in a vote by the Senate on three counts of impeachment.
His removal has divided public opinion with some arguing that his impeachment was not properly done as envisaged by the supreme law.
Elgeyo Marakwet senator, who doubles up as the Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen voted against impeachment, saying that it was not properly done at the Kiambu county assembly.
Legal experts say that it is not yet over for the former governor as he could challenge his removal in the courts of law.
He is currently facing a litany of corruption related charges in the courts, charges that he has strongly denied.
