A day after President Uhuru Kenyatta secretly met retired President Daniel Moi in Kabarak, more leaders have joined the debate.
Jubilee leaders led by Jerusha Momanyi and Shadrack Mose had back meeting adding that it was important for the country's reconciliation.
And on Sunday, Gusii leaders continued to shower the president with praises in the pretext of uniting the country.
"Uhuru has persistently shown his interest to unite the country. We should support all hbis initiatives and it is fundamental that he extended this to opposition," said Timothy Bosire.
Borabu veteran politician Patrick Osero asked Kenyans not to 'read too much' out of the meeting, adding that the president has responsibility to visit the octogenarian.
"Moi is one of his predecessors and I don't think we should read too much. Not all the time we should draw politics to issues."
Despite being just a kilometer away from Moi's home, Deputy President William Ruto did not accompany his boss.
