ODM leader Raila Odinga has dismissed knowledge on supposed cabinet reshuffle by President Uhuru in the near future.
Last week, local media reported widely impending cabinet changes in which Raila's allies are expected to be absorbed.
"They are working closely and you'll see some ministers being replaced maybe in a week's time," a source revealed.
Among those allegedly targeted include ministers whose track record is questionable and those whose departments have been rocked in corruption.
But in an interview with citizen TV on Tuesday, Raila distanced himself from the debate despite impeccable sources revealing his closed-door meeting with Uhuru last week.
"I am not aware of the changes because I am not even in government. It's the prerogative of the president to make such changes so that question should be directed to him," he said.
The former Prime Minister however conceded that the president will have no choice other than to act on the corrupt individuals.
Also, Raila denied claims that a section of people among them Kathleen Openda and Joe Ager appointed by Uhuru made it because of his influence.
"People are raising those claims because they are Luos. However we even had even Luhyas appointed," he claimed.
