On Tuesday, September 25, the former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale was at the Milimani High Court following the case of Migori Governor Okoth Obado.
Governor Obado is being accused of aiding in the brutal murder of Sharon Otieno who was a second-year Medical Records student at Rongo University.
The former senator went ahead to post a picture of him and Governor Obado in court which he captioned:
“This afternoon at the Milimani High Court I stood with my friend Gvn Obado over the vexing question of the murder of Sharon Otieno. Let justice ring in ALL the villages of Migori and Homabay...”
Khalwale’s support for Governor Obado caught many Kenyans by surprise.
Surprisingly, the former presidential candidate and NARC-Kenya party leader Martha Karua gave her views too:
“I may not be in court, but I stand with the victim’s family!” Karua responded.
