Former Kibwezi West MP is among Kamba politicians languishing in political ‘cold’.
The former Assistant Minister's attempts to make it back to active politics have been futile.
In the 2013 and 2017 general election, Ndile unsuccessfully vied for the Mavoko parliamentary seat.
In the run-up to the 2017 general election, Ndile dissolved his TIP TIP Party to merge with president Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee Party.
Months after merging with Jubilee Party, Ndile started complaining of being neglected and left out of the parties key decisions.
And as the 2022 succession politics take centre stage, Ndile is said to be planning to make another attempt into leadership.
But does Ndile still have the political influence to make a return to politics in 2022?
The former MP was among 2017 poll losers recently appointed to various State positions by President Kenyatta.
Ndile was appointed as a Board member of the Tanathi Water Works Development Agency, a position he will serve for three years.
The former MP’s new role could boost his chances of making another attempt to active politics in 2022.
He is also said to have mended his relationship with Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
The former MP was present during Kalonzo’s annual Kamba convention meeting in Matungulu Sub County two months ago.
Ndile’s presence raised political questions owing to the fact that he has been criticizing Kalonzo all along.
The former MP could easily make a return to politics if he works with Kalonzo in 2022.
Kalonzo is considered as the Kamba political leader and his popularity and influence can revive Ndile’s political fortunes.
It remains to be seen whether the vocal former legislator can make a return to politics in the much awaited 2022 election.
