Deputy President William Ruto risks not realising his 2022 presidential ambitions having been surrounded from all sides, political analyst Prof Herman Manyora now claims.
Manyora says that most of the latest political declarations have been pointing at him, proof that he might have it very tough making it to the top seat in the much-awaited polls.
He cited attacks from former Jubilee vice-chair John Murathe, the Kieleweke faction of Jubilee Party, and the recent lambast by COTU boss Francis Atwoli.
"Attacks from Catholic Bishops, Murathe, Atwoli and Tuju are proof that Ruto has been surrounded," he said on his YouTube channel Take It or Leave It on Saturday.
The commentator noted that the DP's refusal to stand down despite all the attacks, and decision to keep fighting for his dream might soon subject him to more brutal action.
He predicted that the group will soon form a joint political front to finish him once and for all, advising the DP to have his eyes wide open if he is to overcome the offensive.
"His enemies now have only one way to finish him once and forever and this will be through a political move. I would advise him to switch on his torch and point at the darkness," said Manyora.
