Bahati lawmaker Kimani Ngunjiri is now accusing opposition leader Raila Odinga of misleading President Uhuru Kenyatta who is his junior, as far as age is concerned.
Speaking when he staged a demo in Nakuru Town on Tuesday, the lawmaker who is against the current friendship between the two urged Uhuru to stop it.
He claimed that Raila is a known political destroyer who could end up destroying the ruling Jubilee Party as he seeks to ascend to the top seat in 2022.
Addressing the press in the course of the demo, the controversial lawmaker begged Raila to release Uhuru whom he seems to have trapped.
"Raila please leave our son alone, please release our Uhuru, do not spoil him," he pleaded in a sobbing voice.
Ngunjiri staged the demo in apparent defiance to Uhuru after the Head of State termed him 'Mshenzi' (Stupid) for allegedly threatening him on Monday.
On Sunday, the MP in a press conference questioned Uhuru's silence over the ongoing attempts by his close ally and former Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe.
He termed it wrong that the President seems to have turned against the DP who played a major role in his twin elections in 2013 and 2017, prompting Uhuru's response.
On Tuesday, he pledged his unwavering support for Ruto's bid at a time when the DP seems to have been thrown under the bus.
"We will stand with Ruto, if he wins we will be with him and the same will be the case in the event he loses," he added.
He also wants Uhuru to come out clear on his deal with Raila.
