Oscar Sudi
He is currently serving as the Member of Parliamentary for Kapseret constituency. A section of his supporters has constantly asked him to vie for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat although he has remained silent on the issue. If Sudi will decide to contest for the seat, then he will be a force to reckon with due to his close relationship with Deputy President William Ruto.
Aaron Cheruiyot
The young senator for Kericho county is likely to seek to succeed Prof Paul Chepkwony who will have served two terms by 2022. Cheruiyot is serving his second term as a senator and his popularity in the green county will play a major role in earning him the top seat if at all he will be in the race as suggested by some opinion makers from the county.
Samson Cherargei
Cherargei is the current senator for Nandi county. His actions within the county suggest that he is eyeing the gubernatorial seat and will definitely be giving governor Stephen Sang a run for his money.
