Migori Senator Ochilo Ayako has termed politics being propagated by Deputy President allies as visionless.
Speaking on Friday in Nyaribari Masaba constituency during the burial of former area MP Dr Hezron Manduku, Ayako challenged team Tanga Tanga allied to the DP to come up with a clear manifesto on how to deal with corruption, a monster that has crippled Kenya for decades.
"First I want to find out what is the hustler prescription for dealing with corruption. We cannot glorify where you originated and where you are going but we want to see how you as a person intends to deal with corruption which is a challenge in this nation," Ayako stated in an indirect address to DP Ruto who has been riding on the 'hustler' narrative.
He added: "Still to the hustler nation, I want to hear your prescription on unity. We have seen appointments being proposed, we have looked at the entire Nyanza, Ukambani and Coastal regions and we are yet to see any hustler appointment from that world."
In a direct Message to South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, Ayako told him to remember that Kenya is for all and not just an individual.
"Is hustler just about individuals or about this country? he questioned adding "as you talk hustler and you think you will get appointed my brother from South Mugirango, I want to tell you this is a nation called Kenya and we want to get everybody on board."
Osoro who took to the podium afterwards steered clear of the debate.
In his speech, Osoro eulogised Mzee Manduku as a great leader who helped him bury his father after they failed to clear a huge hospital bill at Hema Hospital which the deceased founded.
