Kenya Premier League club AFC Leopards are ready to shine in Dar es Salaam Tanzania in Sportpesa tournament, which will have 8 teams from both Tanzania and Kenya.
Ahead of the competition, Leopards' captain Robinson Kamura has given their fans hope that they will excel more compared to the last tournament.
"Just have believe and trust in us, we will make it count, we are ready for Super Cup and win the game by 90th minutes, no penalty shootout this round," he twitted
Gor Mahia are two-time winners of the tournament and will be in the competition alongside Bandari, Kariobangi Sharks and Leopards. Tanzania will be represented by Yanga FC, Simba FC, Singida United, and Mbao FC.
The tournament shall be held between 22-27 January, with the winner having the chance to host Everton for a visit to East Africa.
On Thursday, AFC Leopards bounced back to from there 7 runs with only one win by defeating Chemilil sugar 2-1.
Sportpesa tournament comes at a time when Ingwe's coach Marko is under pressure to perform.
