South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has rescued a woman who was planning to kill herself and her son.
The woman whose name on Facebook is Princes Bonareri Mokogoti posted on her timeline a touching and emotional note saying that she has only one thing ringing in her head, which is suicide.
Bonareri had also said that she would not leave her son to lead a miserable life alone but would join her too.
“God, the burden is too much in me. Suicide, suicide, suicide is the only thing ringing in my mind. I have done all it takes, have suffered enough and what is it that is remaining? Son, I will not let you suffer alone in this world. You will accompany me to the world of dead. I am absolutely tired,” reads part of the woman's Facebook post that was later pulled down following the MP's intervention.
Osoro managed to get the phone number of the woman and would later post on his official Facebook page that he met her.
“Folks filling my inbox, I managed to reach out to our sister and we had a healthy long talk. She is fine and going strong. She has even pulled down this post. Thanks,” he posted.
